Ristorante il Melarancio in Talheim

It is seldom that you reserve a table as soon as possible during a visit to a restaurant so that you can return. We went to this restaurant twice last week as a family, it was two absolute highlights. The hostess Giuseppina is incredibly friendly, loving and takes excellent care of your guests. When we came to our reservation too early on the second evening (it was our own fault), she brought us a glass of sparkling wine so that the waiting time passed faster. That is more than just not a matter of course and also not worthy of appreciation. After the first visit shone with a crown of lamb roasted absolutely to the point, on the second evening there was a tomahawk steak for the first time in my life. I have no words to describe the steak. A master in the kitchen was at work here, you could tell from every bite. Now, unfortunately, the lockdown has started and the restaurants have to close. We all hope that this situation will be over as soon as possible, because it was absolutely clear to everyone: We have to go back here!

We were there for the first time on Friday and immediately reserved a table again for the following day because we we were just overwhelmed by what was offered to us. Great hosts - Giuseppina is friendly, attentive, loving and always has a nice word on the lips - and then these wonderful dishes. Not cheap, but absolutely worth every penny and more. Years ago I actually stopped going to the "Italian" - always the same pizza / pasta monotony and then this discovery! Giuseppe is a master of his trade, an absolute expert. I had an entrecote myself on the first day and the king prawns on the second. There is no better way to prepare these dishes, and both times fine vegetables. Just wonderful. And thank you for not having the eternal fries with it. What a shame you have to close. The whole family hopes that your restaurant will reopen soon. We will definitely be among the first guests. A solid hostess the joseppina, the food wonderful and the hygiene concept well implemented. IT WAS A NICE evening, it's a shame they have to close.

We came without a reservation, were still warmly welcomed and a table was set for us in a corona-compliant manner in a very short time. The daily specials were very delicious, a dry-aged buffalo steak of the finest quality with wonderful flavors, with grilled vegetables ?. The sea bass was also tender as butter and characterized by delicious flavors. The wine list is not for drivers ? and requires a lot of visits ?

This eatery comes highly recommended. I celebrated my 60th birthday there without having tested it beforehand, and it was a direct hit. Everything freshly prepared and well presented. A small, cozy restaurant with very friendly staff. We'll be back for sure.

Served very hospitable and cooked very delicious. Each course is well prepared and put on the plates for the eye. You can rely on the wine recommendation! Since you wish to have a birthday more often in the year!

Cozy place and the food tastes excellent! The owners are very personable. The boiled, breaded and then fried egg is particularly recommended. This is absolutely amazing! But the pizza is also very good. The menu is varied and there is something for everyone. Price / performance ratio fits in any case.

Maybe not the best restaurant in the building but very cozy, the food tastes fantastic and it feels like on vacation. Service is very friendly and accommodating. Very good wine selection. Beer selection is less good, but you do not even go to the Italian for beer. But the choice of water is very good. Overall impression very good.

If you are looking for really traditional Italian cuisine then here ... after the entrance you will be warmly welcomed by the hostess and hosts as in Italy ?? Everything was delicious and prepared with attention to detail. Also great for small festivities ... thank you so much ... we'll be back.

The service was from the entering of the restaurant very friendly and helpfull for guiding to a comfortable table at zhe terrace. The food is great, the starters and main course you will get in the expected row and time. The food quality is also very good. Always a nice and cozy place for a good Italian food. Perfect and go like that ahead

The restaurant at our hotel (Hotel Sonne Talheim) is closed on Mondays so they recommended this place. It's a nice small restaurant with very friendly service. Their cheese raviolis, pizza, and salad were good. The pizza is pretty big (~10"-12") for one person.

Great Italian food!

This is an extraordinarily good local family restaurant. The hostess and chef are the owners. Terrific food and a convivial atmosphere. Authentically Italian by authentic Italians. You won't go wrong with anything on the menu.
